**Exploring the Old Testament: Join Us on Tuesday Mornings**

We invite you to join us every Tuesday at 9:00 AM as we delve into the rich tapestry of the Old Testament.

This ancient collection of texts predates many of humanity’s earliest achievements, such as Stonehenge and the invention of the wheel, and contains narratives that offer insights into the early human attempts to understand the world. These stories detail the origins of the world, the lives of its first people, and the roles of heroes and failures. They reflect the efforts of ancient peoples to comprehend the divine and decipher what the gods expected of them.

More than ten thousand years later, these narratives endure as the Old Testament, chronicling the journey of the Jewish people and their distinctive relationship with God. Through stories, songs, history, and laws, this sacred text provides a window into the early, tumultuous faith journey of one of the world’s oldest religions.

If you think you know the story of the Old Testament, we invite you to think again. Our sessions are part of the second course in the Exploring the Bible: The Dickinson Series, which aims to enhance your understanding of these ancient texts in the context of the era in which they were written. Join us to explore these profound stories and their lasting impact on faith and culture.
